TICONTRACT Rate Management allows shipping companies to retrieve and manage countless freight rates and the associated contracts with service providers. Access control allows all users around the world to access the relevant data and makes the task considerably easier.

• Manage rates and contracts simply and consistently

In the Rate Management module, all freight rates and contracts are saved in a central database. An overview displays the validity of all ongoing and expiring contracts. In addition, the system actively alerts the user to expiring contracts and rate validities. All relevant contracts and documents can be saved and archived by service provider and by contract.

• Flexibly retrieve freight rates

Current and past freight rates can be retrieved in seconds. The system takes into account different types of calculation, such as alternative freight charges or tariffs with diesel floaters, and if required can include surcharge clauses such as ADR or thermal surcharges. The user can create comprehensive reports using various criteria, e.g. rates and contracts per relationship/country/location/service provider, total contract volume with one/several service providers or planned/actual cost comparisons for budget control. With access control on individual contracts and rates, all authorised users worldwide can access the data relevant to them. Costly, time-consuming research is no longer required.

• Data import made easy

The relevant freight rates and data can be integrated into the Rate Management module in various ways. Users of the Tendering module have the option to automatically transfer results of simulations and scenarios into the Rate Management module. There is also the option to import data through interfaces (e.g. XML) or Excel files or to enter it manually into the database.
